An Overview of Mitake Station on the Meitetsu Railway and Its Surroundings
Mitake Station, located in Mitake Town, Kani District of Gifu Prefecture, serves as the terminus of the Meitetsu Hiromi Line. Since its opening in 1920, the station has functioned as a key access point for the community, connecting the town with the broader regional rail network. Situated near the center of Mitake, the station is surrounded by a quiet, historical landscape that blends traditional charm with the natural environment.
Within walking distance of the station, a variety of public institutions, cultural landmarks, and natural features can be found, creating a compact but enriching area of local life and heritage.
